Yvonne Lime was an American actress who gained prominence in the film industry during the 1950s and 1960s. She is best known for her role in the sci-fi film “The Land Unknown” (1957) and also appeared in other notable films such as “Voodoo Island” (1957) and “The Big Operator” (1959). Lime had a recurring role on the television show “Father Knows Best” (1954) and made guest appearances on shows like “The Andy Griffith Show” and “Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C.” Besides her acting career, she authored a humorous book on relationships titled “The Perfect Marriage” (1961).
Born to a music teacher, Lime was encouraged by her parent to pursue acting. She studied at the Pasadena Playhouse and performed in its production of ‘Ah, Wilderness!,’ which caught the attention of an agent. This led to her securing a recurring role on the TV show “Father Knows Best” (1954).
