Vin Diesel, born Mark Sinclair on July 18, 1967, in Alameda County, California, is an American actor, producer, director, and screenwriter. He gained recognition for his role as Dominic Toretto in the “Fast & Furious” franchise, which began with “The Fast and the Furious” in 2001. Since then, Diesel has starred in numerous action films, including “xXx” (2002), “The Chronicles of Riddick” (2004), and “Guardians of the Galaxy” (2014).
In 2021, Diesel reprised his role as Dominic Toretto in the latest installment of the “Fast & Furious” franchise, “F9.” He also lent his voice to the critically acclaimed animated film “Ralph Breaks the Internet” (2018) as Groot. Diesel is set to star in the upcoming action film “Avatar 2” (2022) and its sequels.
