Val Kilmer gained critical acclaim in ‘The Doors’ (1991) portraying the late charismatic band lead vocalist Jim Morrison. He loved learning his many ways–style, voice, accent, and even his smoking habit, which stayed with the actor unfortunately. The original members of the band said that they eventually found it difficult to distinguish Kilmer’s voice from that of the late original singer’s. He later on starred in ‘The Saint’ (1997) and ‘Kiss Kiss Bang Bang’ (2005).

As a young boy, Kilmer has already set his eyes in becoming an actor. He was enrolled at Hollywood’s Professional’s School and then entered Juilliard’s drama department as their youngest student back then.
