Valentino Rossi, born on February 16, 1979, in Urbino, Italy, is a legendary figure in the world of motorcycle racing. The son of former racer Graziano Rossi, Valentino grew up in Tavullia, a town known for its passion for motorcycles. Leaving formal education behind at 16, Rossi dedicated himself to his racing career.
Starting in the 125cc class in 1996, Rossi quickly rose to prominence, becoming the youngest-ever 125cc world champion at just 18 years old in 1997. He then conquered the 250cc class in 1999 before making his mark in the premier MotoGP class.
In MotoGP, Rossi achieved unparalleled success, winning an incredible nine world championships, seven of which came in the premier class.
