Tom Baker is best known for his role as the Fourth Doctor in the iconic British TV series “Doctor Who,” which he played from 1974 to 1981. He has also contributed his voice to numerous audio dramas based on the show. Some of his other notable performances include playing Sherlock Holmes in “The Hound of the Baskervilles,” voicing Puddleglum in the BBC adaptation of “The Silver Chair,” and appearing in films such as “Nicholas and Alexandra” and “The Golden Voyage of Sinbad.” Baker has also authored several books, including his autobiography, “Who On Earth Is Tom Baker?” In 2023, he celebrated his 89th birthday.
