Ted Kotcheff, a Bulgarian-Canadian film and television director, writer, and producer, is renowned for his contributions to both British and American TV productions. He gained widespread recognition for directing the original Rambo movie, “First Blood,” as well as other successful films like “Wake in Fright” and “North Dallas Forty.” Additionally, Kotcheff has directed episodes of popular shows such as “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.” In recognition of his significant contributions to the film industry, he was awarded the Order of Canada in 1991.
