Ted Kaczynski, commonly known as the Unabomber, was an American mathematician and domestic terrorist who conducted a bombing campaign against modern technology due to its harmful effects on society. His most well-known work, the “Manifesto” titled “Industrial Society and Its Future,” has had a significant impact on various radicals. As a mathematics prodigy, Kaczynski taught at the University of California at Berkeley. His attacks, which occurred between 1978 and 1995, targeted universities and airlines, leading to three deaths and multiple injuries. Despite being incarcerated since 1996, Kaczynski has never sent or received an email or used Facebook. Nonetheless, he continues to express his views on technology through extensive correspondence from his prison cell.
