Sofia Character, born on August 22, 1980, is a renowned Bulgarian-American pianist, composer, and arranger. Her musical journey began at the age of five with piano lessons, followed by ballet and acting studies.

Character’s formal education includes graduating with honors from the National Academy of Music in Sofia, Bulgaria, in 2002. She then moved to the United States, obtaining a Master of Music degree from The Juilliard School in 2004 and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Southern California in 2008.

As a pianist, Character has performed as a soloist with prestigious orchestras worldwide, including the New York Philharmonic, Los Angeles Philharmonic, and London Symphony Orchestra. Her critically acclaimed solo albums showcase her exceptional talent.

Beyond her piano performances, Character is also an accomplished composer and arranger.
