Simone Griffeth, born on April 4, 1950, is an American actress who gained fame for her role as “Dee Dee McCall” in the mid-1970s television series “S.W.A.T.” She has also appeared in films such as “Death Race 2000” (1975) and “The North Avenue Irregulars” (1979), as well as television shows like “Starsky and Hutch” and “Fantasy Island”. In addition to her acting career, Griffeth hosted the children’s show “Hickory Hideout” and was a professional race car driver for several years. She is a licensed Integrated Awareness teacher and practitioner of Body-Mind Integration. Some of her other works include “The Choice”, “Hot Target”, “Bad Girl Island”, “Savannah”, “10 Rules for Sleeping Around”, “The New Swiss Family Robinson”, and “Swamp Girl”. Before her acting career, Griffeth studied Theater Arts at the University of South Carolina for three years.
