Simone Sherise Battle (June 17, 1989 â September 5, 2014) was an American singer, dancer, and actress who gained recognition as a finalist on the music competition show “The X Factor” in 2011. She later joined the girl group G.R.L. in 2012, which was known for hit singles such as “Vacation”, “Ugly Heart”, and “Wild Wild Love” featuring Pitbull. Sadly, Battle passed away at the age of 25 in 2014.
