Simon Helberg, an acclaimed American actor and comedian, is best known for his portrayal of Howard Wolowitz in the hit CBS sitcom “The Big Bang Theory” (2007-2019). This role earned him the Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. In addition to his television success, Helberg has appeared in films such as “Florence Foster Jenkins” (2016), “A Serious Man,” and “Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story.” His performances have garnered nominations for the Golden Globe Award and Screen Actors Guild Award. A talented pianist, Helberg has also contributed music to various projects. Interestingly, despite being born and raised in Los Angeles to actor Sandy Helberg and casting director Harriet B. Helberg, his primary interest as a young boy was karate.
