Shawn Michaels, born Michael Shawn Hickenbottom, is an American retired professional wrestler, actor, and television personality. Known as the “Heartbreak Kid,” he achieved immense popularity during his illustrious career in WWE from 1989 to 2018.

Michaels’ wrestling journey began in the late 1980s when he gained recognition in the American Wrestling Association (AWA), where he won the AWA World Tag Team Championship twice. He joined WWE in 1988 and quickly rose to prominence, becoming a six-time world champion, capturing the WWF Championship three times and the WWE World Heavyweight Championship once.

Throughout his career, Michaels headlined several pay-per-view matches and co-founded the iconic stable D-Generation X. His in-ring performances were marked by athleticism, high-flying maneuvers, and captivating charisma.
