Shawn Bradley, a German-American former NBA player, stood at 7 feet 6 inches and was known as one of the tallest players in the league’s history. He played as a center from 1993 to 2005 and was renowned for his shot-blocking skills and strong defensive game. Some of his accomplishments include being named to the NBA All-Rookie second team in 1994 and winning a bronze medal at the 1989 FIBA Under-19 World Cup. Bradley grew up on a farm near Castle Dale, Utah, and excelled in basketball, football, and baseball at Emery High School. Unfortunately, in January 2021, he suffered a biking accident in St. George, Utah, which left him paralyzed from the chest down and ended his basketball career.
