Born in 1958 in San Francisco, California, Sharon Robinson is a talented American singer, songwriter, record producer, and visual artist. She is best known for her long-standing collaboration with the legendary musician Leonard Cohen, with whom she worked for over 30 years as a band member and backup singer. Robinson co-wrote some of Cohen’s most famous songs, such as “Everybody Knows” and “In My Secret Life,” and has also penned songs for various artists like The Pointer Sisters, Aaron Neville, Brenda Russell, Diana Ross, Don Henley, and Michael Bolton.

Robinson has released several albums, including “Café of the Soul” and “Sharon Robinson.” As a visual artist, her works have been exhibited in galleries across the United States and Canada, and her artwork has graced the covers of her own albums as well as Cohen’s “Ten New Songs.” She has showcased her work at the prestigious Morrison Hotel Galleries in New York and Los Angeles.
