Sharon Cuneta, often referred to as “the Megastar,” is a renowned Filipino singer, actress, and television personality with a career spanning more than four decades. She rose to fame at a young age with popular songs such as “Mr. DJ,” “Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buhok Ko,” and “High School Life.” As a prominent figure in the Philippines, Cuneta has released over 40 albums and starred in more than fifty films, including well-known titles like “Dear Heart,” “Madrasta,” and “BFF: Best Friends Forever.” Throughout her career, she has earned numerous awards, including four FAMAS Awards for Best Actress and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Gawad Urian Awards. Besides her accomplishments in music and acting, Cuneta is also recognized for her philanthropic work and advocacy for animal welfare in the Philippines.
