Santiago Segura Silva, born on July 17, 1965, is a multi-talented Spanish filmmaker, actor, screenwriter, and television presenter. He rose to fame for his portrayal of José Luis Torrente in the Torrente film series, which he also wrote, directed, and produced. Segura has acted in various Spanish films, such as the horror film “The Nameless” and the comedy “Isi & Disi, alto voltaje.” He has earned numerous awards for his contributions to the Spanish film industry, including the Goya Award for Best Director for “Torrente 2: Mission in Marbella.” Additionally, Segura has hosted the late-night talk show “El Peliculón” on Telecinco.
