English actress Ruth Wilson is renowned for her portrayal of Alice Morgan in the crime-drama series “Luther,” co-starring Idris Elba. She has received critical acclaim for her performances in the Broadway production of “Constellations,” as Alison Lockhart in “The Affair,” and in films such as “Anna Karenina,” “The Lone Ranger,” and “Dark River.” In 2012, she won the Best Actress Olivier Award for her role in “Anna Christie.” Wilson has also appeared in the TV show “His Dark Materials” and the film “See How They Run.” Notably, she played the title role in Eugene O’Neill’s “Anna Christie” at the Donmar Warehouse, alongside Jude Law.
