Ron Cephas Jones (January 8, 1957 – August 19, 2023) was a renowned American actor, most recognized for his portrayal of William Hill in the acclaimed drama series This Is Us. His exceptional performance in the show earned him two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series, as well as a Screen Actors Guild Award and multiple Emmy nominations. Jones also had notable appearances in popular TV series such as Luke Cage and The Get Down. Unfortunately, he passed away at 66 years old due to a long-standing pulmonary issue.
