Ron Baker, an American former professional basketball player, was a significant contributor to the Wichita State Shockers’ unexpected advance to the semifinals in the 2013 NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Tournament. Although he went undrafted in the 2016 NBA Draft, Baker spent three seasons in the NBA, mainly with the New York Knicks and Washington Wizards. He was known for his tenacious defense and three-point shooting skills. Besides his NBA career, Baker also played for the NBA G League’s Westchester Knicks. Additionally, he is a licensed pilot with a keen interest in aviation.
