Robin Harris was a renowned American comedian and actor, widely recognized for his stand-up comedy acts and his portrayal of “Sweet Dick Willie” in the 1991 film “House Party”. He became famous for his risqué humor and exceptional storytelling skills. Some of his other significant works include his 1989 HBO special “Live From the Comedy Act Theater”, his role in the 1990 film “Mo’ Better Blues”, and his posthumously released album “Bebe’s Kids”, which was inspired by one of his most popular comedy routines. Before embarking on a career in comedy and acting, Harris served in the United States Air Force. Tragically, he passed away from a heart attack in his sleep at just 36 years old, shortly after performing for a sold-out audience at Chicago’s Regal Theater.
