Robert Lee Griffin III, commonly known as RGIII, is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for eight seasons. He rose to prominence during his tenure at Baylor University, where he won the Heisman Trophy in 2011. Griffin was drafted by the Washington Redskins (now Washington Football Team) in 2012 and enjoyed a successful rookie season, earning the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award. He later played for the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens. In addition to his football career, Griffin has ventured into broadcasting, serving as a guest analyst on NFL Live in 2017 and transitioning to a full-time broadcaster in 2021.
