Richard Webb was an American actor and television presenter renowned for his roles in various TV series such as “Captain Midnight”, “Sky King”, and “The Lone Ranger”, as well as films like “Out of the Past” and “The Last Time I Saw Paris”. During World War II, he served in the United States Army Air Forces and later became a presenter for “The Big Parade of Stars”. Webb, who passed away in 1993, was also a licensed private pilot and volunteered for the Civil Air Patrol during the Korean War. Interestingly, he was discovered by Paramount Pictures in 1940 and went on to appear in numerous films as a contract player.
