Ray Rice, a former American football running back, is widely recognized for his successful tenure with the Baltimore Ravens, during which he contributed to the team’s Super Bowl XLVII victory in 2013. Rice was chosen for three Pro Bowls and was regarded as one of the league’s top running backs. Additionally, he was named AFC Offensive Player of the Year in 2011 and received the Ed Block Courage Award in 2012. Beyond football, Rice has participated in charitable efforts, supporting anti-bullying campaigns.
Rice attended Rutgers University, where he played football for the Scarlet Knights under coach Greg Schiano from 2005 to 2007. After college, he was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in 2008 and quickly established himself as a leading running back in the NFL. However, his career took a downturn in 2014 when he was suspended by the league following a domestic violence case. Despite attempting a comeback, Rice has not played in the NFL since.
