Quentin Roosevelt
Quentin Roosevelt was the youngest son of President Theodore Roosevelt and a pursuit pilot during World War I. He was tragically killed in aerial combat over France.

Quentin Roosevelt I, born in 1897, was the youngest child of President Theodore Roosevelt and First Lady Edith Roosevelt. He pursued a career as a pilot, joining the United States Army Air Service during World War I. Quentin became a pursuit pilot and served in the Lafayette Escadrille, a squadron of American volunteer pilots fighting for France. He attended Harvard University before his military career and achieved the rank of lieutenant in the U.S. Army. Tragically, Quentin lost his life in aerial combat over France on July 14, 1918, also known as Bastille Day.
