He is considered one of the most successful NBA coaches in history, having secured an impressive 11 NBA championships. Jackson’s unique coaching style was influenced by Eastern philosophy and Native American mysticism, distinguishing him from his peers. He has written several books on mindfulness and leadership, such as “Sacred Hoops” and “Eleven Rings.” As a professional player, Jackson was part of the New York Knicks, winning NBA championships in 1970 and 1973. He also had a brief stint in the Continental Basketball Association before transitioning to a coaching career.
