English actor Peter Davison, born Peter Malcolm Gordon Moffett, is renowned for his roles in various television dramas and sitcoms. He rose to fame in 1978 with his portrayal of Tristan Farnon in the BBC’s adaptation of James Herriot’s All Creatures Great and Small. Davison is also well-known for playing the fifth incarnation of the Doctor in the popular science fiction series Doctor Who. Additionally, he has appeared in shows such as Sink or Swim, The Last Detective, and Coronation Street. Besides acting, Davison has directed episodes of Coronation Street and Emmerdale and has performed on stage in numerous productions. He is married to American actress Sandra Dickinson, and they have a daughter named Georgia.
