He held the world No.1 ranking for an impressive 286 weeks and secured 14 Grand Slam titles throughout his career. Sampras was famous for his powerful and accurate serve, which contributed to his dominance in the 1990s. In addition to his Grand Slam victories, he won two Davis Cup titles, five ATP Tour World Championships, and was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2007.
