William Alvin Moody, better known as Paul Bearer, was a renowned American professional wrestling manager and licensed funeral director. He rose to fame as the guiding force behind The Undertaker in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE). Bearer’s most notable accomplishments include managing The Undertaker and hosting the talk show segment, The Funeral Parlor. He also managed other prominent wrestlers such as Kane, Mankind, Vader, and The Big Show. Bearer received two Slammy Awards for Best Personality in 1996 and 1997. Besides his wrestling career, he was a skilled musician, playing the French horn and participating in various marching bands. Sadly, Moody passed away on March 5, 2013, leaving a lasting impact on the professional wrestling world.
