Norman Burton, an American actor, gained recognition for his portrayal of Felix Leiter in the James Bond movie “Diamonds Are Forever.” He also had roles in well-known TV shows like “Hawaii Five-O,” “Ironside,” and “The Fugitive,” as well as films such as “The Towering Inferno” and “The Sting II.” A skilled linguist, Burton spoke six languages fluently and had a keen interest in aviation, even obtaining a private pilot’s license. Before embarking on his film career, he graduated from The Actor’s Studio in New York and performed in professional stage productions. Burton passed away in 2003.
