Ermias Joseph Asghedom, popularly known as Nipsey Hussle, was a renowned Grammy-winning hip-hop artist and community activist hailing from the Crenshaw district of South Los Angeles. He rose to prominence through his underground mixtapes and became a respected figure in the rap industry. Some of his most notable works include the 2010 mixtape “Blue Laces” and his debut studio album “South Central State of Mind.” In addition to his musical accomplishments, Hussle was also recognized for his social justice activism and entrepreneurial ventures within his community. Sadly, his life was cut short when he was murdered in 2019 at the height of his career.
