Nina Li Chi, often referred to as the “Marilyn of the East”, is a distinguished Chinese actress, dancer, singer, and businesswoman. She rose to fame in the late 1980s and early 1990s for her leading roles in movies like “Diao Chan”, “A TerraCotta Warrior”, “Dragon Fight”, “Stone Age Warriors”, and “The Banquet”.
Born on January 28, 1966, in Shanghai, China, Nina Li Chi began her career as a dancer, training at the Shanghai Dance School and later joining the Shanghai Dance Company. Her talent and beauty caught the attention of the film industry, and she made her acting debut in 1984 with the Hong Kong film “The Last Emperor”.
Throughout her acting career, Nina Li Chi captivated audiences with her performances in numerous successful Hong Kong films, including “Police Story 3”, “City on Fire”, and “A Chinese Ghost Story”, for which she won the Hong Kong Film Award for Best Actress.
