Ned Romero, born on December 4, 1926, in Franklin, Louisiana, was a talented American actor and opera singer who made a name for himself in both television and film. He rose to prominence for his role as Cooch in the TV series “Falcon Crest” and was well-known for his work in “I Will Fight No More Forever” (1975), “Star Trek” (1966), and “Star Trek: The Next Generation” (1987). Additionally, he appeared in films such as “The Talisman” (1966), “Winchester 73” (1967), and “Hang ‘Em High” (1968). As a proud Chitimacha Native American, Romero actively advocated for Native American culture and traditions in Hollywood. He passed away on November 4, 2017, in Palm Desert, California, at the age of 90.
