Nancy Cartwright is an American actress, voice actress, and author. She is best known for her role as Bart Simpson on the animated television series “The Simpsons,” which she has voiced since 1987, making her one of the longest-running voice actors in television history. In addition to Bart, she also voices Nelson Muntz, Ralph Wiggum, Todd Flanders, and Kearney Zzyzwicz on the show.
Cartwright has also had a successful career outside of “The Simpsons.” She has voiced characters in other animated series, including “The Fairly OddParents,” “King of the Hill,” and “Family Guy.” She has also appeared in live-action films and television shows, such as “The Parent Trap” (1998), “The Princess Diaries” (2001), and “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody” (2005-2008).
Cartwright is also a successful voice-over artist, having provided voices for commercials, video games, and theme park attractions. She has won numerous awards for her work, including four Emmy Awards, a Grammy Award, and a BAFTA Award. She was also inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2004.
