Mike Dirnt, born Michael Ryan Pritchard on May 4, 1972, is an American musician and the co-founder and bassist of the renowned punk rock band Green Day. His musical journey began in 1987 when he formed the band with Billie Joe Armstrong. They released their debut album, “39/Smooth,” in 1990, but it was their third album, “Dookie,” in 1994, that propelled them to mainstream success.

Since then, Green Day has released 13 studio albums, including “Insomniac,” “Nimrod,” “Warning,” “American Idiot,” “21st Century Breakdown,” “¡Uno!,” “¡Dos!,” “¡Tré!,” “Revolution Radio,” and “Father of All Motherfuckers.” Mike Dirnt has also ventured into solo projects, releasing two albums, “Mike Dirnt” in 2010 and “Acoustic EP” in 2014.
