Maddie Moate is a British television presenter, podcaster, YouTuber, and children's author best known for presenting the CBeebies series Maddie's Do You Know? She won the Best Presenter BAFTA at the Children's BAFTAs 2017.

Madeleine Moate, a British television presenter, YouTuber, and children’s author, is best known for hosting the CBeebies science show “Maddie’s Do You Know?” for which she won the Best Presenter BAFTA at the Children’s BAFTAs in 2017. She has also written a children’s book titled “Maddie Moate’s How to Be an Engineer” and co-created the YouTube channel “Earth Unplugged.” A strong advocate for diversity in STEM, Moate has received numerous awards for her science communication work. Her other notable projects include “BBC Earth Online,” “Realm of the Yeti,” and “Maddie, Greg and the Zipwire.”

Currently, Moate hosts the BAFTA-nominated CBeebies TV series “Maddie’s Do You Know?” and CBBC’s “Show Me the Honey,” as well as Magnolia Network’s “Make Yourself At Home” on Discovery Plus. As a moon rock ambassador for NASA, she has held pieces of the moon in her hand. Moate has also served as a judge for the Royal Society’s Young People’s Book Prize and has spoken at events such as VidCon and New Scientist Live.
