Liz Callaway, a distinguished American actress, singer, and recording artist, rose to fame for her singing voice as Princess Jasmine in Disney’s ‘Aladdin’. She has also been acclaimed for her roles in musicals such as ‘Cats’, ‘Miss Saigon’, and ‘The Spitfire Grill’, as well as various concerts and recordings, including a Tony-nominated performance in ‘Baby’. Among her accomplishments are an Emmy Award for her role in the PBS series ‘Animaniacs’ and a Lucille Lortel Award for ‘The Spitfire Grill’. Callaway has released several albums, including ‘Anywhere I Wander’, ‘Sibling Revelry’ with Ann Hampton Callaway, and ‘The Story Goes On’. Born on April 13, 1961, in Chicago, Illinois, she auditioned for the role of Grizabella in the original production of ‘Cats’ but was not cast.
