Levi Stubbs, an American singer and actor, gained international fame as the lead singer of the Four Tops, a highly successful Motown group in the 1960s. Known for hit songs like “Reach Out I’ll Be There” and “Baby I Need Your Loving,” Stubbs also contributed his voice to animated projects such as “The Little Mermaid” and “Captain Planet and the Planeteers.” He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame but unfortunately passed away in 2008 after suffering a series of strokes.
