Leslie Odom Jr. is an award-winning actor, singer, and songwriter best known for his portrayal of Aaron Burr in the Broadway musical “Hamilton,” for which he won a Tony Award in 2016. He studied musical theater at Carnegie Mellon University and made his Broadway debut in “Rent” in 2001.

Since then, Odom Jr. has starred in numerous Broadway productions, including “Wicked,” “Leap of Faith,” and “Hamilton.” He has also appeared in several films, such as “Red Tails,” “Murder on the Orient Express,” and “One Night in Miami,” for which he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song.
