Leon Isaac Kennedy, an American actor, film producer, and writer, gained prominence for his portrayal of Martel “Too Sweet” Gordone in the 1979 movie Penitentiary. He continued to produce and star in its sequels, Penitentiary II and Penitentiary III. Kennedy has also made appearances in other films and TV shows, including Lone Wolf McQuade and Body and Soul. Besides his acting career, he holds a fifth-degree black belt in karate and trained under Bruce Lee.
