Leon Kennedy, portrayed by actor Johnny Strong in the first installment of the ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise, has since become a prominent figure in the ‘Resident Evil’ video game series and beyond. Originally introduced as a supporting character in the 2002 game ‘Resident Evil 2’, Leon has evolved into a fan-favorite protagonist, known for his bravery, resourcefulness, and unwavering dedication to protecting others.

Born on July 19, 1977, in Arklay County, Raccoon City, Leon grew up in a loving family and joined the Raccoon City Police Department after graduating from the police academy. His exceptional skills led him to be assigned to the elite Special Tactics and Rescue Service (S.T.A.R.S.) unit.

Leon’s defining moment came in 1998 when he was sent to investigate a series of mysterious murders in the Arklay Mountains. Unknowingly, he stumbled upon a nightmarish outbreak of zombies and other bio-organic weapons created by the Umbrella Corporation. Despite the overwhelming odds, Leon fought his way through the infested city, rescuing survivors and uncovering the dark secrets behind the Umbrella Corporation’s experiments.

After the Raccoon City incident, Leon’s expertise and unwavering commitment to justice led him to join the United States Secret Service. In 2004, he faced another daunting challenge when the president’s daughter, Ashley Graham, was kidnapped by a sinister cult known as Los Illuminados. Leon embarked on a perilous mission to Spain, infiltrating the cult’s stronghold and ultimately rescuing Ashley.

Throughout his remarkable career, Leon has demonstrated exceptional combat skills, mastering a variety of weapons and engaging in intense hand-to-hand combat. His unwavering determination and ability to overcome seemingly insurmountable odds have earned him numerous accolades, including the prestigious Presidential Medal of Freedom and the Medal of Honor.
