Lena Nyman (23 May 1944 â 4 February 2011) was a distinguished Swedish actress, widely recognized for her outstanding performance in the provocative film series “I Am Curious.” She achieved international acclaim for her role in “I Am Curious (Yellow)” (1967), a sexually explicit film that provoked censors in the 1960s. Nyman’s breakthrough role was in Vilgot Sjöman’s “I Am Curious (Yellow)” and its sequel “I Am Curious (Blue)” (1968). Additionally, she appeared in Ingmar Bergman’s “Autumn Sonata” (1978). Nyman earned numerous accolades for her contributions to the film industry, including the Best Actress award at the Guldbagge Awards.
