Her performance in this role earned her international recognition, five Primetime Emmy Award nominations, and a Golden Globe Award nomination. Headey has also appeared in notable films such as The Brothers Grimm (2005), Possession (2002), and The Remains of the Day (1993). In addition to her acting career, she participated in a 2008 anti-circus public service announcement for PETA. In 2023, Headey starred in the movie Twist.
