Landon Collins, a professional American football player, has had an outstanding career in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Alabama and was drafted by the New York Giants in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft. In his rookie year, Collins was named to the NFL’s All-Rookie Team and has since earned multiple Pro Bowl and First-Team All-Pro selections. In 2014, he was named the Best Defensive Player in the SEC and a Consensus All-American.
Collins has consistently been recognized as one of the top players in the league. In 2016, NFL.com ranked him as the fifth-best player of the season. His peers voted him the 92nd best player in 2018 and the 28th best player in 2017. As a standout safety for the New York Giants, Collins has impressive statistics, including 125 tackles, 4.0 sacks, and 5 interceptions in the 2016 season.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Collins has been involved in various charitable efforts, such as supporting the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund Foundation. Before his NFL career, Collins was an All-American defensive back in high school and had a successful college career at Alabama, where he won a BCS National Championship.
