She is an American actress and film producer who gained fame for her role as Plenty O’Toole in the 1971 James Bond film, Diamonds are Forever. Lana has also appeared in notable films such as The Searchers, The Fugitive, and The Lively Set. She had recurring roles in popular television shows like Peyton Place, where she played Sandy Webber, and Capitol.
In addition to her acting career, Lana co-authored a memoir titled “Natalie: A Memoir by Her Sister,” which offers insights into her sister Natalie Wood’s life and their experiences growing up in Hollywood.
Lana Wood made a comeback in 2018 with her role in the indie feature “Dog Boy” after experiencing homelessness in 2017. Her portrayal of Bond girl Plenty O’Toole in “Diamonds Are Forever” remains one of her most iconic roles.
