In 2021, Salazar made history by becoming the youngest player to score a hat-trick in an MLS match, showcasing his remarkable goal-scoring prowess. His impressive performances earned him a spot on the MLS All-Star team, where he competed alongside some of the league’s top players.
Salazar’s international recognition grew when he was called up to the United States Men’s National Team in 2022. He made his debut in a friendly match against Mexico, becoming one of the youngest players to represent the U.S. on the international stage.
