Karter Edwards, the son of popular YouTubers Kyrah and Kaelin Edwards, has carved his own path to fame through his exceptional basketball skills. Born on January 10, 2001, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Karter grew up in a basketball-loving family, with his father, Trent Edwards, being a former NFL quarterback.

Karter’s basketball talent was evident from an early age. He attended Zionsville Community High School, where he led his team to the state championship in 2019, earning him the prestigious Indiana Mr. Basketball award. His impressive high school career caught the attention of college scouts, and he committed to Purdue University to play college basketball.

At Purdue, Karter quickly made a name for himself. As a freshman, he started in all 35 games and averaged 10.3 points per game. His sophomore season saw him blossom into a star player, averaging 18.5 points per game and earning Second Team All-Big Ten honors.

After his successful college career, Karter declared for the 2021 NBA Draft and was selected with the 54th overall pick by the Philadelphia 76ers. Although he spent his rookie season with the 76ers’ G League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats, Karter showcased his potential by averaging 19.3 points per game.

Beyond basketball, Karter is known for his positive attitude and strong work ethic. He is also actively involved in community service, working with various organizations to support underprivileged youth. In his spare time, Karter enjoys playing the piano and guitar, as well as gaming.
