Joshua K. Adams, born on March 15, 1982, in Baltimore, Maryland, is an Australian Dancesport competitor and a two-time Nationwide Dancesport Champion. He has gained immense popularity in the industry and captivated the attention of both media and fans with his mesmerizing dance performances. Joshua comes from a family of successful ballroom dancers, including his two older brothers, Paul and Michael.
Adams’ professional dance career took flight after graduating from the Baltimore School for the Arts. He joined the renowned Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in 2003, where he quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a principal dancer in 2006. With the Alvin Ailey company, Adams performed on some of the world’s most prestigious stages, including the Metropolitan Opera House in New York City and the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris.
