Joshua Brewster Bolten, an American lawyer and politician, is widely recognized for his role as White House Chief of Staff under President George W. Bush from 2006 to 2009. Prior to this, he held the position of director of the Office of Management and Budget between 2003 and 2006. In addition to his political career, Bolten has been involved in various other endeavors, such as serving as Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy, General Counsel for the US Trade Representative, and an accomplished pianist and soloist for the National Symphony Orchestra. He is also an advocate for bipartisan cooperation and effective governance. In 2017, Bolten became the president and CEO of the Business Roundtable, an association of leading US company CEOs. Furthermore, he founded Rock Creek Global Advisors, a consulting firm specializing in international trade and investment.
