Coming from a rugby league family, Morris inherited his passion for the sport from his father, Steve Morris, and uncles, Brett and Kevin Morris.
Morris’s professional career began in 2006 with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, where he quickly made a name for himself with his speed, agility, and try-scoring prowess. He became a regular member of the Bulldogs’ first-grade team and represented New South Wales in the prestigious State of Origin series.
In 2011, Morris joined the St. George Illawarra Dragons, where he continued to shine. He played a pivotal role in the Dragons’ journey to the NRL Grand Final in both 2010 and 2011. His impressive performances earned him the title of the Dragons’ all-time leading try-scorer.
