Jonathan Miller was a multifaceted British talent, known for his work as a writer, theatre and opera director, humorist, and physician. He gained prominence for his contributions to the British comedy revue Beyond the Fringe and his imaginative and elegant production of Gilbert and Sullivan’s popular operetta, The Mikado. Miller’s other notable works include his production of Mozart’s Così fan tutte and his book On Reflection. Highly respected in the medical field, he was a strong advocate for improved healthcare education. Miller also presented a series of BBC programs on the history of atheism, titled “Atheism: A Rough History of Disbelief.”
